FAVOUR FOR DIVINE SPEED: The Mystery That Accelerates Destiny

There is a limit to human effort, alone. There is a boundary to strength.

No matter how disciplined, intelligent  and strategic you are, there is a ceiling you cannot break by yourself.

Destiny was never designed to be fulfilled by mere human strength.

It requires the Hand of God. The hand of God is His Favour at work in your life.

The Contrast: Ahab and Elijah

In 1 Kings 18:46, Scripture records something unusual.

Ahab mounted a chariot and rode toward Jezreel while Elijah ran on foot.

Naturally, the king had the advantage. He had machinery,  horses, and resources.

While the king travelled in his chariot, Elijah stayed behind praying. It looked like Elijah was already falling behind and couldn’t get to Jezreel before the King.

Like Elijah, sometimes, it appears that you are behind in life. Others appear to be doing well than you and even achieving more.

They have more resources, more connections, opportunities, and natural advantages.

It may appear foolish trusting the Lord and following Him when others are cutting corners.

And if you don’t understand what God can do, you will be greatly discouraged.

There is a clear contrast between what man can do and what God can do. Ahab and Elijah were perfect examples.

When the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, he outran Ahab by nearly 20 miles.

This was the supernatural manifestation of God’s Favour.

Favour is God’s hand upon your life that grants Divine speed. It is when the supernatural imposes itself upon the natural.

When God’s hand comes upon your life, He imparts supernatural strength to achieve what you couldn’t have done by your own strength alone.

The race was not equal.

But the hand of God made it unequal in Elijah’s favour.

Favour is your supernatural advantage in an unfair and unequal world.

What Is Divine Speed?

Divine speed is not haste.

Haste is anxiety-driven movement. Divine speed is empowerment-driven acceleration.

It is when God strengthens you beyond your natural capacity.

Psalm 18 declares:

By You I can run against a troop…”
“He makes my feet like hinds’ feet…”
“He girds me with strength…”

This is what it means for God’s hand to come upon your life and destiny.

Divine speed is when God strengthens a man beyond his natural capacity and causes his effort to produce multiplied results within compressed time.

It is supernatural empowerment meeting disciplined obedience.

It is not idleness.
It is not indolence.
It is imparted strength.

Divine speed is the amplification of human efforts. Minimal efforts, maximum results by the hand of God.

When the Hand of God comes upon a man, restoration occurs through acceleration.

How to Provoke the Hand of God

The hand of God does not fall randomly. It is provoked by dependence.

Before Elijah outran Ahab, he persisted in prayer. He bowed himself to the earth. He travailed until rain appeared.

He did not abandon fellowship to chase relevance. He stayed in communion and waited for heaven.

Favour is provoked by trust. It is accessed through surrender.

The hand of God rests on those who refuse to trust in chariots. Divine speed is not accessed through shortcuts.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. — Psalms 20:7 (NIV).

It is those that wait upon the Lord that will renew their strength.

In the place of fellowship, God exchanges weakness for strength. He grants you His divine strength that empowers you to mount up with wings as Eagles to soar beyond your limitations.

You must come before the Lord with a desperate, vulnerable and shameless dependence.

Accessing the favour of God and his hand upon your life is by declaring your allegiance and dependence on the God who helps men.

Destiny Cannot Be Accomplished Alone

The greatest deception of strength is independence.

We assume:
If I work harder, I will arrive.
If I push longer, I will succeed.
If I persist enough, I will break through.

But Scripture shows us something deeper:

Strength must be supplied. Speed must be granted.

Then he told me, “This is the message from the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘You will not succeed by your own strength or by your own power. The power will come from my Spirit,’ says the Lord of heaven’s armies. — Zechariah 4:6 (ICB).

Advancement must be empowered. Without the Hand of God, effort becomes strain. With the Hand of God, effort becomes acceleration.

The Final Balance

Labour matters.
Preparation matters.
Obedience matters.

But labour alone cannot accelerate destiny.

Human strength has limits but Favour has none.

Favour is God’s strength making a man’s effort superior. It is divine ability overruling natural disadvantage.

Favour is heaven empowering a man to outrun what should have overtaken him.

And that is the conclusion of this matter.

You cannot fulfil destiny by strength alone.

You need the Hand of God.
You need impartation.
You need favour for divine speed.

Favour is heaven empowering a man to outrun what should have overtaken him.

Pray for the Hand of God to rest upon your life and destiny. Because when the Hand rests upon you:

Years are restored.
Ground is recovered.
Destiny accelerates.

HAND OF THE LORD, REST UPON MY LIFE AND DESTINY.

CRY FOR FAVOUR BEYOND YOUR LABOUR.
